Elk Run Farm is the demonstration site for the nonprofit, Drylands Agroecology Research. The vision of DAR is to transform dry, abandoned, and marginalized landscapes into lush ecosystems where humans, animals, and spirit can thrive. Specific to Elk Run Farm is the implementation of biodynamic practices. On this land, we have prepared barrel compost and utilized many preparations to spread health and vitality to the plants we tend. Join us for a walk on our land followed by tea and discussion around what we do as earth stewards in this part of Colorado.
