Sara, a farmer, and activist who, with her parents' help in 2009, started a CSA at age 14. Today Sara owns, runs, and lives at Red Acre Farm CSA in southern Utah. Red Acre is a diversified biodynamic 2-acre vegetable farm with a flock of laying hens, a milk cow, and a herd of dairy goats. Partnering with local ranchers, they offer a full diet year-round CSA. Red Acre sells their produce at a farmer's market, to chefs, and from their on-site Farm Stand.

Sara co-founded with her mom Red Acre Center, a grassroots organization that advocates for small farmers and artisanal producers. Red Acre Farm and Center is open to the public, hosting events and educational opportunities for the community they love. Sara hopes to inspire others by sharing her story.
