Biodynamic farming is more than preps and a planting calendar. What else is it? We will present the biodynamic methods we use on our farm for sustainable architecture, animal husbandry, feed production, field crops, and maintaining a healthy farm organism. Working in partnership with the plants, domesticated and wild animals, and elemental beings we work to improve soil and plant quality by the use of biodynamic preps, the planting calendar, composting, crop rotation, green manure, flood irrigation, weed and pest control, and pasture management. Through the Biodynamic internship we have learned the importance of listening to the plants and animals and walking the land in a mindful, open hearted way as the foundation.of all the work we do on the farm.
