Azuraye grew up in Boulder and enjoyed a beautiful childhood at Yellow Barn Farm (then known as Autumn Hill Equestrian Center). Her family connected with Drylands Agroecology Research in 2020, which was the impetus for her to move home to Boulder after living in Boston for the past 5 years, and she now leads the transition of Yellow Barn Farm into a full-fledge demonstration site for regenerative agriculture, economics, and social design. She is an entrepreneur, owning and operating 4 businesses at the farm, with a major focus in holistic human systems design drawing much of her inspiration from nature's organizational wisdom. She speaks Spanish and Mandarin and has a deep love of travel and culture.
