We will begin the day at Metro Caring, an organization dedicated to meeting people’s nutritional needs while addressing the root cause of hunger: poverty. We will have lunch at Yellow Barn Farm, a century-old farm that is revitalizing the land for low-scale, high-quality food production, community-supported agriculture, and sustainability education. Just down the road, Elk Run Farm and Dryland Agroecology Research will show us their Biodynamic systems and discuss earth stewardship in CO.
