Join us for an intimate and experiential tour of a biodynamic & draft horse-powered farm in Boulder, CO. Light Root Community Farm operates a grass-based micro-dairy, vegetable gardens, and pastured egg production, as well as a variety of farm education and community outreach programs offered through the farms non-profit wing, Living Earth Agriculture Foundation. This tour will encompass the Ecology, Economy, and Educational components of the farm.  Participants will get a nuts-and-bolts experience with farmers Cameron Genter and Daphne Kingsley looking at biodynamic practices, fertility management and composting systems, raw milk dairy operation and herd share program, and a working demonstration of draft horse powered systems.
