Cameron Genter is Co-founder of Light Root Community Farm in Boulder, CO, a 65 acre draft horse powered farm and dairy rooted in biodynamic farming practices. Cameron has been working with biodynamic agriculture for 25 years around the country and is passionate about the sustainable role of utilizing draft animal power on small diversified farms. His many roles on the farm include farm teamster, field and crop manager, holistic systems designer, farm educator and new agrarian mentor.
Cameron is also the co-director for Living Earth Agriculture Foundation (LEAF), the farm's non profit wing, which holds the farm's social and educational mission providing community engagement opportunities, therapeutic and educational farm programming, teen mentorship and mindfulness on the farm, and future farmer training. Cameron is inspired to cultivate living relationships and healing on the farm by connecting people with the soil, plant and animal life of the farm.
