Biodynamic farming is an intricate blend of method and philosophy, woven together through the unique spiritual consciousness that each individual farmer brings to the land. In this workshop we will share how Light Root Community Farm brings together animal husbandry, soil work and plant cultivation, fertility management, use of draft animal power, holistic management, and CSA on their diverse farm in Colorado. We will also explore the farm’s social renewal mission of connecting the community to the farm through therapeutic mindfulness, addiction recovery, mental health, and education programs.
